Our Founders
Therapy Center was founded by five skilled therapists who wanted to make a difference in their field by offering superior quality care, helping patients maximize their potential and live life to its fullest. Each partner is involved in every aspect of our day-to-day operations, and provides the vision for the continued growth and success of Therapy Center.
M. Shane Castille, PT
Originally from Eunice, LA, Shane graduated from LSUE in 1994 and received his Physical Therapy degree from The LSU Medical Center in Shreveport in 1996. Shane oversees the company’s operations and has been an integral part of our Long Term Care and Nursing Home Care units.
Steve Coon, LOTR, MBA, HCA
Steve brings more than thirteen years experience in healthcare management and outpatient, nursing home, home health, inpatient rehab, and skilled nursing facility care to Therapy Center. He earned his Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburg in 1997 and his Masters of Business and Health Care Administration in 2001 from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. Steve remains highly involved in contract procurement, business development, personnel management, financial management, and overall operations.
Shannon Lemoine, PT
Shannon graduated from LSU Medical Center in Shreveport in 1996 with a degree in Physical Therapy. He has experience with nursing home care, home health care, acute care, outpatient therapy, management, and compliance education throughout all of our facilities in Southwest and Central Louisiana. Shannon continues to oversee operations at the Lemoine Therapy Services branch of our company.
Peter Torpy, PT
Originally from “the land down under” Perth, Western Australia, Peter graduated from the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1995. Peter enjoys treating patients as well as being a liaison between our company and the companies we do business with, making sure Therapy Center upholds our responsibilities and commitments to our patients, the facilities we work with, and their respective licensing boards.
Stephen VanHook, PT
Born and raised in Jennings, LA, Stevie graduated from LSU Medical Center in Shreveport with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1996 and has provided physical therapy services throughout Jeff Davis Parish. His experience in hospital, outpatient clinic, home health, and nursing home care has been a key to our success and a driver for quality care. Stevie remains highly involved in the operations of business, specializing in marketing strategies, business development, physical and administrative relations, expansion, and administrative efficiency.
Management Team
Therapy Center employs full-time mentors, including physical, occupational and speech therapists, to work with each of our long-term care partners. Mentoring is part of Therapy Center philosophy, helping educate staff, patients, and families about new techniques and best practices in an ever-evolving industry. Our Director of Compliance works alongside mentors providing on-the-job training opportunities for part-time and junior staff to ensure Therapy Center continues to deliver the highest quality care for every patient.
Berl Guidry, Director of Operations
Berl graduated from USL with Bachelor of Science in General Studies, and has been in therapy management since 1994. A USL graduate, she joined the Therapy Center family as Director of Operations/Mentor in September 2008. She takes pride in employee and customer satisfaction as well as Therapy Center’s growth and development.
Danielle Keyser, PT, Mentor – Iberia Parish
Danielle has been with Therapy Center since 2005. She received her bachelor’s degree from LSU in Baton Rouge and went on to receive her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Alabama in Birmingham. Danielle has worked in skilled nursing facilities her entire career as an Occupational Therapist, with a passion for Geriatrics. Danielle travels to each partner facility within Iberia Parish to assist with staff education and program development.
Amber LaPrairie, OT, Mentor – Avoyelles Parish
Amber received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from LSU Baton Rouge in 2000, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from LSUHSC New Orleans in 2002. Amber began working for Therapy Center as an occupational therapist in 2003 and moved into the position of Mentor in 2008.
Rachel Manuel, SLP, Mentor – Jeff Davis Parish, Acadia Parish, Evangeline Parish
Rachel graduated from UL Lafayette with a degree in Speech Language Pathology and has 8 years experience in nursing home care. Rachel has served as a Manager and Mentor for Therapy Center since 2008 in the Basile and Jennings areas, and provides staffing services for speech therapy company-wide.
Lauren McCraine, MOT/LOTR, Mentor – Avoyelles Parish, St. Landry Parish
Lauren graduated from LSU-Baton Rouge in 2002 and received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from LSUHSC-Shreveport in August of 2004. Lauren has been with Therapy Center since 2004, and has been a Mentor since 2009.
Erica Rozas, OT, Mentor – Lafayette Parish
A resident of Eunice, Louisiana, Erica has been with Therapy Center since graduating as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2004. She strives to promote teamwork and communication to meet the needs of the patient, nursing home, and the company.
Diana Booty, Office Manager
Diana graduated from Central LA School of Massage in Pineville in 1998 as a Massage Therapist. She began working with Therapy Center in 2005 as Office Manager for our outpatient clinic, Lemoine Therapy Services, in Marksville.
Elisha Duhon, Director of Outpatient Services
Elisha graduated from McNeese State University in Early Childhood and Special Education. While attending college, she worked as a physical therapy technician, and after graduation taught special education for one year before returning to Jennings to work as Office Manager of the Jennings clinic. Elisha currently oversees the operations for Therapy Center outpatient clinic in Jennings and all contracts with home health and area hospitals.
Julie Neal, Director of Accounting & Administration
Julie graduated from McNeese State University with a Masters of Education, Concentration in Health Promotion. Julie taught 4th grade for two years before coming on board with Therapy Center in 2002.
Lance Hill, OT, Director of Compliance
Lance graduated from the University of Alberta in 1993 with a BSC in Rehabilitation Medicine, specializing in Occupational Therapy. Lance also has a BA in Psychology, with a minor in Linguistics. Lance started his career in Occupational Therapy in 1993 and has been in therapy management since 1996. Lance helps Therapy Center respond quickly to regulatory changes within Medicare to avoid the risk of reviews or denials. As Director of Compliance, Lance also ensures that Therapy Center managers and field staff have the resources they need to excel in their job duties, keeping Therapy Center a leader in rehabilitation services.
Marketing Team
Therapy Center’s dynamic marketing team supports our partners, therapists, mentors and founders by developing new business relationships and helping “tell the story” of Therapy Center through strategic marketing initiatives.
Kristi LeLeux Fredieu, Business Development & Marketing Manager
Kristi graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Marketing. Kristi also earned her master’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University at Shreveport in 2005. Kristi is responsible for new business development for Therapy Center and also coordinates and implements Therapy Center’s marketing campaigns and social media strategies.
Ava Tanner Hebert, Recruitment Manager
Ava is a 2006 graduate of University of Louisiana, Lafayette, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Ava is responsible for employee recruitment and hospital relations. She will also assist in the coordination and and implementation of Therapy Center’s marketing strategies.
Carly Person, Marketing Coordinator
Carly is a 2002 graduate of the University of Louisiana of Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. In 2004, she went on to earn a master’s degree in Business Administration. Carly is responsible for the development of all marketing communications materials created for Therapy Center and oversees the implementation of the company’s marketing plan and brand guidelines.
