Position: Clinic Therapist , PT/OT

Location: The Therapy Center

 

Summary of position: The Clinic Physical/Occupational Therapist provides quality therapy services by evaluating and treating patients in order to restore them to their prior level of function. The Physical/Occupational Therapist also must follow required guidelines while maintaining The Therapy Center’s excellent reputation and customer satisfaction.

Focus areas include:

- Evaluation: The patient’s condition is evaluated and a customized rehabilitation and treatment plan is devised to reduce the patient’s pain and discomfort, and to enhance their current level of function.
- Patient care: Individually designed programs of physical treatment are carried out to maintain, improve or restore physical function and alleviate pain in patients.
- Documentation: Patient’s prognosis, treatment, goals, response, and progress are documented appropriately and timely.
- Education & Communication: Excellent patient care is delivered because all staff members are informed and knowledgeable of therapy treatments and techniques that will benefit the patient.
- Professionalism: The Therapy Center’s exceptional reputation is maintained due to the professionalism of our staff therapists.

Requirements:

- Must have completed an accredited physical or occupational therapy education program and passed the required licensure exam.
- Must maintain valid state physical or occupational therapy license.
- Must possess basic computer skills; intermediate skills preferred.
- Must possess therapy services knowledge, leadership and delegation skills and experience.
- Must pass company required drug screen and physical and background screening.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to company locations.

 


Position: Rehabilitation Hospital Therapist, PT/OT

Location: The Therapy Center

 

Summary of position: The Rehabilitation Hospital Physical/Occupational Therapist provides quality therapy services by evaluating and treating patients in order to restore them to their highest level of function. The Physical/Occupational Therapist also must follow required guidelines while maintaining The Therapy Center’s excellent reputation and customer satisfaction.

- Patient Care: Individually designed programs of physical treatment are carried out to maintain, improve or restore physical function and alleviate pain in patients.
- Documentation: Patient’s prognosis, treatment, goals, response, and progress are documented appropriately and timely.
- Communication: Channels of communication are established and maintained in order to ensure excellent patient care.
- Education & Supervision: Excellent patient care is delivered because all staff members are informed and knowledgeable of therapy treatments and techniques that will benefit the patient.

Requirements:

Summary of position: The Home Health Occupational or Physical Therapist provides quality therapy services that will improve a patient’s functioning, quality of life, overall activities of daily living and self esteem. The Home Health Therapist also must follow required guidelines while maintaining The Therapy Center’s excellent reputation and customer satisfaction.

- Patient care: Individually designed programs of treatment are carried out to maintain, improve or restore function and alleviate pain in patients.
- Documentation: Patient’s prognosis, treatment, goals, response, and progress are documented appropriately and timely.
- Education: Excellent patient care is delivered because therapists, caregivers and the patient are informed and knowledgeable of therapy treatments and techniques that will benefit the patient.
- Communication: Channels of communication are established and maintained in order to ensure excellent patient care.

Position: Nursing Home Occupational Therapist

Location: The Therapy Center

 

Summary of position: The Nursing Home Occupational Therapist restores the patient’s independence after loss of function by assisting them with everyday activities such as dressing, feeding, toileting, etc. This therapist is responsible for providing quality therapy services that will improve a patient’s quality of life, overall activities of daily living and self-esteem.

Focus areas include:

- Screening: The patient’s condition is assessed to determine whether therapy would reduce the patient’s pain and discomfort, or enhance current level of function.
- Evaluation: The patient’s condition is evaluated and a customized rehabilitation and treatment plan is devised to address specific needs and goals to attain the highest level of function.
- Patient care: Individually designed programs of treatment are carried out to maintain, improve or restore function in patients.

Position: Nursing Home Speech Language Pathologist

Location: The Therapy Center

 

Summary of position: The Nursing Home Speech Language Pathologist provides their expertise to improve any deficit in swallowing, speech, or cognition skills in patients that affect daily sequences. This position assists patients to increase their ability to communicate their needs/wants to become more functionally independent. The Speech Language Pathologist educates caregivers and staff on helping patients to maximize communicative competence in Activities of Daily Living.

Requirements:

- Must have completed an accredited speech language pathology education program and passed the required licensure exam.
- Must maintain valid state speech language pathologist license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.
- Must possess basic computer skills; intermediate skills preferred.
- Must possess therapy services knowledge, leadership and delegation skills and experience.
- Must pass company required drug screen and physical and background screening.

Summary of position: The Nursing Home Occupational Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to carry out a treatment plan to help patients regain functional independence after loss of function by assisting them with everyday activities such as dressing, feeding, toileting, etc.

Summary of position: The Clinic Therapy Technician assists therapists with patient modalities and exercise. The Therapy Technician also sets up the therapy room by having supplies and equipment available to the therapist for use during the therapy session. The Therapy Technician must follow required guidelines while maintaining The Therapy Center’s excellent reputation and customer satisfaction.

Focus areas include:

- Patient care: The patients are attended to in a timely and friendly manner, which facilitates and encourages their participation in therapy.
- Wound care: Therapists are assisted with wound care by having the treatment area, supplies and instruments ready for treatment.
- Aquatic therapy: Aquatic therapy is administered in order to assist the patient in attaining their therapy goals.
- Organization: The treatment areas and equipment are clean and organized to encourage patient satisfaction with treatment.
- Communication & Teamwork: Channels of communication are established and maintained with the TTC team in order to ensure excellent patient care.
- Professionalism: The Therapy Center’s exceptional reputation is maintained due to the professionalism of its staff therapists.

Position: Nursing Home Therapy Technician

Location: The Therapy Center

 

Summary of position: The Nursing Home Therapy Technician readies the patient for therapy and assists therapists with patient transport and patient exercise. The Therapy Technician also sets up the therapy room by having supplies and equipment available to the therapist for use during the therapy session.
