Helping Hands Q2 2017 Award Winners: Service is Part of Our Culture

It’s no secret that Therapy Center has the BEST team of professionals in the business! We know that it’s our wonderful group of dedicated, hard-working team members who make us who we are. We want to take time each quarter to recognize just a few of our many awesome team members who consistently go above and beyond their job duties and set an example of leadership and team work for us all.

Amanda is the PT portion of the amazing team at one of our partner facilities, a team that begins each day of treatment in prayer. She has traveled the state in the past month, assisting our new PTs with treatment, and getting them acclimated to The Therapy Center as well as to their new profession. Her skills as a clinician are reflected in the compassion that she has for each and every patient.

Audrea “Audie”, SLP has been with TTC for 3 years and serves as the full time SLP at one of our partner facilities.  Audie is kind and compassionate with her patients and always wears a smile on her face, even in the most challenging situations.  She is never distracted by outside stressors and is attentive to her documentation, team, and patients at all times. She does an excellent job with the Dysphagia program at our partner facility and can be found in the dining room nearly every day at lunch.  She monitors weekly weights closely and has an excellent rapport with the nursing home staff.  Audie is always interested in understanding changes and seeking ways to improve her skillset. Outside of work, Audi can often be found seeking out new functional activities that will make therapy fun for her patients as well as promote carryover into their home environments.  She is an asset to the team and TTC!

Brooke, SLP is an amazing asset to the ST portion of the TTC team at one of our partner facilities. She has humbly and graciously stepped up to the plate while a fellow speech therapist has been on  leave, being willing to arrive early and stay late as well as work weekends to ensure her patients’ needs are met without complaint. Brooke is passionate about her work and it is shown every day in the care and compassion she has for her patients. Brooke never fails to have a positive attitude and goes above and beyond to assist other team members making her a great team player. Thanks for all the hard work Brooke!

Caitlin, PT has been such a great team player since being hired on with the Therapy Center. Caitlin is the physical therapist at one of our partner facilities and has been with the company for 1 year.  She has brought new ideas to the therapy team and has taken on the role of guiding students as well as new grads.  Caitlin has taken on extra responsibilities this past month while covering while a therapist is on leave.  Caitlin has developed a great relationship with nursing home staff.   She has demonstrated high quality documentation and sets a good example for all around her.  Thank you so much for all that you do!!! You Rock!

Codi, PTA has been with Therapy Center since 2016.  In her time with Therapy Center she has assisted in a variety of settings primarily around the Lafayette area, including home health, outpatient, assisted living, and inpatient rehab.  She is always a team player going above and beyond communicating with fellow therapists to help wherever and however she can.  She has, at times, helped with home health visits from Jennings to New Iberia and Iota to Gueydan.  She gets great reviews and outcomes from her patients and works well with everyone she comes in contact with.  Thank you Codi for choosing to be a part of our team.

Daniel  has been the lead PT in the Slidell area, serving two of our partner facilities since 2008 and has been a TTC employee since March of 2015. Daniel will always go above and beyond helping other staff or patients, often without being asked.   Daniel is well received and appreciated by the nursing home staff and residents. Daniel also serves as a Clinical Instructor for TTC, providing guidance for student PT and PTAs. Thank you Daniel, we appreciate your hard work and positive attitude.

Josh, OT has been voted helping hands because he has increased the coordination and communication for our therapy team and the facility they support.  He has taken on responsibilities of handling needs of the facility and the therapy department when there staffing shortages. Josh brings a lot of energy to the therapy team and is always pleasant. He works long hours when needed to make sure the patients get the care they need. Josh is a great asset to have to The Therapy Center and we are grateful to have him as part of therapy team! Thanks Josh!!!

Sarah  has been part of our marketing team since 2015. She is the true definition of a team player. If it’s even possible to become more of an asset, she has been a tremendous support during the two maternity leaves in the marketing department over the last couple months. She never denies requests for her assistance to any department.  She turns around projects faster than expected even with two people down.  She isn’t afraid to seek out options, try new ideas, and teach herself completely new programs. She makes chicken scratch look beautiful and professional, listens attentively to terrible attempts to describe ideas and turn them into something wonderful and useful to promote our company and the things we do best. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does and when it doesn’t turn out satisfactorily, she’s not afraid to scrap it and start fresh.  Thank you for keeping us so well put together in print!
