Q3 2017 Helping Hands: Service Is Part Of Our Culture

It’s no secret that Therapy Center has the BEST team of professionals in the business! We know that it’s our wonderful group of dedicated, hard-working team members who make us who we are. We want to take time each quarter to recognize just a few of our many awesome team members who consistently go above and beyond their job duties and set an example of leadership and team work for us all.

Amy has been an amazing PT with Therapy Center since 2009.  She typically covers home health with an occasional stop in the acute setting as well.  In Amy’s area, her schedule can change at a moment’s notice and what and where she is needed can change quickly.  Preparation and flexibility are extremely important to getting the job done and Amy is very good a juggling both of those aspects.  She is always willing to help make both herself and our company better, whether it’s through treating patients, training new therapists, sharing new ideas and shortcuts, or enhancing her own documentation efforts.  She is always willing to take on the task and is always open to feedback. We really appreciate Amy and all that she does and we are blessed to have her as part of our Therapy Center family.

Amy has been the lead OT at one of our partner skilled nursing facilities for the past few years and has done a fantastic job doing so. Her documentation is strong and spot-on, utilizing an abundance of standardized tests to support her cause.  She’s not afraid to ask questions, research situations, think outside of the box, and go above and beyond for her residents. She takes it upon herself to research and purchase specific equipment that she feels would improve her evaluations and treatments.  Amy is a true team player within her therapy team, as well as within her nursing home, assisting in making the day run smoother and organized.  She rarely sits during the day, as she is looked to daily for recommendations due to her expertise on improving patient independence, including wheel chair modifications, splinting, positioning, and meals. We appreciate all of Amy’s hard work, as she is well deserving of the TTC helping hand.

Blake, PTA, has continued to be a huge asset to The Therapy Center. Blake is always willing to come in on weekends if needed. Blake takes a lot of initiative to help with the communication in the facility he works in and goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are provided for and taken care of. He is a great teammate and always pleasant to work with.  He is also highly complemented by the staff in our partner skilled nursing facility for his great demeanor and ways he makes sure customer service is top notch. We are so appreciative of Blake and what he brings to The Therapy Center!
