Q1 2020 Helping Hands

It’s no secret that Therapy Center has the BEST team of professionals in the business! We know that it’s our wonderful group of dedicated, hard-working team members who make us who we are. We want to take time each quarter to recognize just a few of our many awesome team members who consistently go above and beyond their job duties and set an example of leadership and team work for us all.

Ashley B., Clinic Receptionist has been with Therapy Center for over a decade! Since joining the Therapy Center family in 2008 she has filled a variety of roles from working the front desk to assisting with home health and the billing office. Ashley is always considerate of her co-workers and goes above and beyond to help in any way possible. Lately that has included seek and find missions for much needed supplies, which is characteristic of her willingness to help in any capacity and facility needed. She is always encouraging and supportive. We can’t thank her enough for her positive attitude and smiling face that shows up every day!

Brittany S., SLP has been such a blessing to her facility! She walked in on day one with the drive to improve the ST department including: increasing caseloads, establishing good communication and relationships with integral NH staff members, having difficult conversations to address issues, and performing in-services immediately following. It is obvious that she enjoys her job, as she is compassionate and is always providing quality care. Thank you, Britt, for all that you do! We are so grateful and lucky to have you!

Haley R., COTA –  Haley truly goes above and beyond each day to fulfill the needs of her facility on top of being a treating therapist. She has played a huge role in the transition to PDPM in her facility with educating the staff as well as her team all the while juggling all of the responsibilities as Point Person in a very demanding facility (daily staff meetings, family conferences, educating staff and training Restorative aides). She is extremely accommodating to her team, her facility, and to her residents. Haley is consistent in her presence, bringing positivity when situations are hard, she brings calmness when situations are chaotic or upsetting. Haley sets a great example of dedication, loyalty, and kindness to all around her and her job!! She is the epitome of a servant leader, a huge asset to her facility, and very deserving of Helping Hands! Thank you, Haley—for all that you are, you do, and you bring to TTC!!! We love you!

Lauren C., PTA has been the picture of flexibility in the past several months traveling from Alexandria to Mamou, Church Point, Avoyelles Parish and Basile. She never complains and is always willing to go wherever she is needed. Lauren is kind and helpful and we are proud to have her on our team. Thank you, Lauren, for being the ULTIMATE team player!

Renee B., Regional Coordinator – Dedication, attention to detail, flexible, knowledgeable, dependable….are just a few characteristics that Renee endlessly demonstrates in the many different jobs that she is currently juggling. Not only has Renee been a huge support in this transition from PPS to PDPM, she maintains her position as a Regional Coordinator and has also been the tech and Point Person at her facility. She has done a tremendous job communicating with nursing, MDS, and therapy staff in this transition! In addition, Renee has been extremely timely and efficient in gathering necessary documentation for audits. Renee, all of us truly appreciate the loyalty you demonstrate to your job and The Therapy Center. THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!!!!

Scott M., PT is an incredible team player. There is nothing that he won’t do to help his co-workers and his patients. Scott has an incredible work ethic and an even stronger love for his job and his patients. His job doesn’t stop as a therapist as he is currently also operating as his own therapy tech at the Clinic. Scott is also very steadfast in the cleanliness of the clinic and the equipment. It is an honor to be on the same team with someone who shows so much dedication and passion for his job!

Tiffany R., Tech/Receptionist has been a rock star since the day we met her! She left her interview with all of the exercises printed out to study in case she was offered the position…we knew immediately how lucky we were! Tiffany will ask her coworkers if she can help with ANYTHING-even if they are not in the same department-and often going out of her way to help meet the needs of others. There is no job too big or small to ask. She is the epitome of superior service! Thanks for all you do, Tiffany!
