Q3 2020 Helping Hands

It’s no secret that Therapy Center has the BEST team of professionals in the business! We know that it’s our wonderful group of dedicated, hard-working team members who make us who we are. We want to take time each quarter to recognize just a few of our many awesome team members who consistently go above and beyond their job duties and set an example of leadership and team work for us all.

Emily is the PTA and Point Person at one of our skilled nursing facilities. She has been so helpful these past few months, while helping to keep things running smoothly during these challenging COVID times! She never hesitates to help out when needed, even if it means pulling her computer out at home on the weekends. Emily goes above and beyond to keep her patients feeling loved and happy. She has helped with telehealth supervision on top of handling everyday needs within the facility. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to the TTC family!

Taylor has only been with Therapy Center for a short time, but in that short time, she has proven to be diligent with her work and a team player. She has been helping in many of our hospital partner facilities for rehab, acute, and outpatient as needed. She has come in to help on the weekends and goes outside of her typical area to cover when normal staff is off or during periods of high caseloads. She coordinates her time with the PTs in the various settings so both the patient needs and facility needs are met. She does all of this while maintaining her compassion with the patients and a smile for everyone she encounters.

Paige is a wonderful Speech Therapist at one of our partner skilled nursing facilities. Paige helps to make sure that everything is being taken care of in the facility and makes sure that the patients are very well taken care of. Paige is a great team player and always willing to lend a hand with anyone on her team. She also brings creativity and laughter to the team, bringing light to many stressful days. Paige is a wonderful asset to have and we thank her for her all that she does and brings to TTC!!

Ashley is what we call the healthcare unicorn. As an LPN, she masters patient care and case management like a pro. On top of amazing drive and compassion, Ashley is a Rockstar in the marketing arena too. She comes up with great ideas to reach our referral sources and her intelligent personality make her a physician favorite. Ashley always shows up to work putting her best food forward, giving 110% and then is willing to give even more if it means she can help someone else. There are not nearly enough words to describe how lucky we are to have her on our team. Thanks for choosing us Ashley. We are so grateful for your loyalty and dedication.

Nathan, the PTA and Point Person at one of our partner skilled nursing facilities, is an excellent communicator and very detail oriented. He is loved by patients and staff and always goes above and beyond to help in any way that he can. He has been flexible with telehealth supervision and does a great job of monitoring hours between Basile and Mamou for PT and OT staff. We truly value his teamwork!

Haley is a jack of all trades. She handles tech and administrative responsibilities well and is valued by her skilled nursing partner facility family and the management team at TTC. She is proactive in monitoring excess staff and identifying people who can help when caseloads are high. She does an excellent job with assisting with telehealth as needed and is always flexible in managing duties even when taking time off. We appreciate her contributions to the TTC family!

Doug, PT – Hurricane Laura turned many lives upside down in Southwest Louisiana. Unfortunately, as a company, we were also affected with our Lake Charles clinic suffering extreme damage along with the homes of some of our employees. Doug suffered such damage to his home along with the clinic he worked in. Many people in his shoes would probably throw in the towel, however; this guy not once considered it. Without a clinic to work in, Doug eagerly reached out to work in any capacity asked of him. Doug has filled in at many of our outpatient clinics as well as the hospital, while remaining positive throughout. His servant attitude with patient care and staff is an ideal held highly by Therapy Center and is a value that separates us from most healthcare companies. It is with great pleasure that we recognize Doug Greenman for helping hands and thank him for always being a ray of positivity.
