Q4 2019 Helping Hands & Leadership Spotlight

It’s no secret that Therapy Center has the BEST team of professionals in the business! We know that it’s our wonderful group of dedicated, hard-working team members who make us who we are. We want to take time each quarter to recognize just a few of our many awesome team members who consistently go above and beyond their job duties and set an example of leadership and team work for us all.

Kylie N., HR Generalist – Since joining us full time in May of 2019, Kylie has become an integral member of our HR/Payroll team. She never shies away from a challenge or project and always maintains a positive attitude. Kylie’s assistance with the on-boarding of new facilities as well as the end of the year reporting and auditing requirements were invaluable.

Ashley H., PT – In December, Ashley stepped in as Point Person at her facility and has excelled in this role. She has managed to juggle, with grace, evaluating/treating at 2 different nursing homes, as well as all of the responsibilities of a Point Person in a very busy facility, which includes a large VA and deaf/blind population. She always takes the time to stop what she’s doing to assist other therapists or answer questions, no matter how busy she is. We appreciate all of your hard work, as it has not gone unnoticed!
Casey L., COTA – Casey has stepped in at her facility to assist with organizing the OT department. Even when she’s in a totally different building and in a different parish, she’s still helping to manage the OT department and keeping her OTs on track! She is an excellent COTA, always willing to learn, always showing initiative, always helping others (even when she’s slammed), and all with a smile on her face. Thank you, Casey, for all that you do for us!
Breayn H., SLP – Breayn is one of the SLPs in North Louisiana. She has played an integral part in the transition from PPS to PDPM with educating facility staff as well as SLPs who are new to the nursing home setting. Breayn is always willing to help her team members out whenever needed and goes above and beyond for her patients. She has recently received an AAC device for a resident who hasn’t spoken in over 6 years and is actively working towards improving her ability to communicate with those around
her. The Therapy Center is blessed to have her as part of the family. Thanks for all you do Breayn!
Jeanne W., PTA – Jeanne has been a PTA with Therapy Center since 2007. Her primary position throughout the years has been home health; however, she has assisted in multiple outpatient and inpatient settings.. Basically, Jeanne will help wherever she is needed and always with positive attitude. She never lets her unfamiliarity in an area interfere, as patient care and delivering genuine, sincere services to a patient is always top of priority to Jeanne. Any area she is assisting in, she’s never complained and is always smiling and laughing. She often jumps in with whatever is needed and can often be found cleaning and organizing the clinic in between patients. Jeanne is a wonderful teammate, and we don’t know what we’d do without her.
Candi C., SLP – Candi has been a critical asset to her facilities as well as a resource to surrounding areas during the transition from PPS to PDPM. She has shown a willingness to learn, communicate, and create an interdisciplinary team approach with our business partners that has met and exceeded our expectations. She is always willing to go above and beyond for her patients and facilities. She and her family delivered Christmas gifts to residents on Christmas morning and she is readily available to both TTC and nursing home staff on weekends, evenings, and time off. Candi is an invaluable resource and friend to The Therapy Center.

LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT

Diana B., Clinic Manager

Diana has been with Lemoine Therapy Services for over 15 years. During her time with us, she has left a lasting impression, not only in our outpatient clinics,
but to many in Avoyelles Parish. From day one, she has been in the trenches working with our Lemoine Therapy team in providing quality patient care. From talking to physicians, to troubleshooting issues, Diana does it all. We are blessed to have her as our Clinic Manager for the Mansura and Alexandria outpatient clinics!

What others shared about Diana:

“My friend Diana goes beyond to help people. Had it not been for her I would not have gotten the opportunity to work for such a wonderful company. She is a very good person . Always helpful to coworkers. If a problem comes up at work she is on it!”

“Diana is an awesome boss! She is always working to make sure ever employee is taken care of in addition to all of her many responsibilities of running a clinic. She makes sure we all know that we are a valued part of the team and that each of us know how much she cares. Thanks for all you do!”

“Diana has been my office manager here in Marksville during my first year as a therapist with Lemoine Therapy. She has helped me navigate many challenging experiences with patience and wisdom, as well as to grow as a therapist and a person. Diana shows motherly compassion and care to whomever she comes into contact without hesitation. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with her as she is a true asset to our family.”

“Diana is great person. She is more than a manager/co-worker/mentor, she is a GREAT friend. She is always open and honest and will help you no matter what obstacle you have to cross. She is a great listener and adviser. Diana is very dedicated to her job and always thinks of everyone’s best interest. I am very proud to have her as a friend and co-worker.”

“In these few years she has become more than just a manager, but someone we can call a friend.”

“Diana is hard working and dedicated. She will always have our best interest in her heart. She is one of a kind.”

“I’ve been working with Diana for 10 years and I’ve found her to be a very loving and compassionate manager. She’s the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back if asked. She is so understanding of my needs as a mom and as a professional. She is loving when she needs to be and stern when she needs to be, but she is always fair. I know that I can go to her with anything and she will listen with an open mind. I’m grateful to have her in my life.”

“Diana truly has a heart of gold. She is the “momma” of Lemoine. If anyone ever needs anything extra, they know that they can always turn to her for help. She is one of the most loyal employees you will come into contact with, and would literally give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. Lemoine Therapy would not be the same without her!”
